Terms of Service
1. Who these terms are with
Brydge is operated by Brydge Sports Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 17310348), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ. By creating an account or joining the waitlist you agree to these terms.
2. Who can use Brydge
You need to be 13 or over. If you are under 18 you need a parent or guardian’s consent before your account becomes active, and they accept these terms with you. Recruiter accounts are for people genuinely working in recruitment, and we verify them before granting access to players.
3. The waitlist
Joining the waitlist reserves you a place in line for early access. It is not a purchase, not a contract for the service, and no payment is taken. You can be removed at any time by emailing us.
4. Subscriptions, trials and pricing
- Players get a 14-day free trial, then £9.99 per month.
- Recruiters get a 30-day free trial, then £19.99 per month.
Prices include VAT where it applies. Your trial converts into a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before then, and it renews each month until you cancel. We will tell you before the trial ends.
We can change prices, but not on you mid-term: an existing subscription keeps its price until the end of the period you have paid for, and we will give you at least 30 days’ notice before a new price applies. You can cancel rather than accept it.
5. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel in your Apple or Google account settings — we have no ability to cancel those subscriptions for you, and cancelling in the app alone will not stop the billing. If you subscribed directly, cancel in your Brydge account settings or email us.
Cancelling stops the next payment. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
6. Refunds and your cancellation rights
As a consumer in the UK you normally have 14 days to change your mind about a distance contract. Because Brydge gives you immediate access, you are asked to agree that the service starts straight away, which means that right ends once you have started using it — but we will still refund a subscription within 14 days of a charge where you have made little or no use of the service in that period.
Subscriptions bought through the App Store or Google Play are refunded by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us. We cannot issue those refunds.
If Brydge is faulty or not as described, your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply and nothing here limits them. To request a refund, email hello@brydgesports.com.
7. Your content
What you upload stays yours. You give us permission to host it, show it to other users as your settings allow, and display it within the app so the product can work. That permission ends when you delete the content or close your account.
Only upload footage you have the right to use. Do not upload video of other people’s children without their parent or guardian’s agreement.
8. Behaviour
Do not harass or abuse anyone, impersonate anyone, misrepresent yourself as a recruiter, scrape the platform, or use Brydge to approach young players outside the rules of the game’s governing bodies. We can suspend or remove accounts that do, and we will report conduct that puts a young person at risk.
9. What we do and don’t promise
Brydge gives you a place to be seen. It does not promise you will be recruited, signed, contacted, or offered a trial, and we are not a party to anything that happens between you and a club or recruiter. AI analysis is an assessment tool, not a professional recruitment verdict, and should not be treated as one.
We aim to keep the service available but cannot guarantee it is uninterrupted or error-free. Features described before launch may change.
10. Liability
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Beyond that, our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Ending your account
You can close your account whenever you want. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless doing so would compromise a safeguarding matter.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date above and tell you in the app where the change materially affects you. Continuing to use Brydge after that means you accept the change.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you can bring proceedings in your own country.
14. Contact
